Though it’s called MapMyRun, this fantastic free app is not just for running. There’s a setting for walking, running on a treadmill, cycling, hiking, sit ups, etc., and it keeps track of your route (via GPS), elevation, distance, duration, pace, and number of calories burned. With a very straightforward user interface, you can opt for voice prompts to give you updates on your progress, share routes with friends via Facebook or Twitter, and keep a log of your workouts. A perfect tool for all us TrailblazerGirls.
