Shenandoah National Park by Roam

Coming May 18 and August 10, 2013. Our friends at Roam are offering another great course – the Shenandoah National Park Backpacking Course – a 2 week adventure covering 107 miles along the Appalachian Trail (A.T.). They are offering a sampling of what thru-hikers (hikers that travel long-distance trails like the A.T. from end-to-end) experience by hiking from shelter to shelter and learning basic backpacking, self reliance, and personal safety skills. Price includes instructors, food on the trail, lodging, camping fees and permits, and transportation once you get there.
