Our friends at Modibodi have created the Active Brief, a reusable, sustainable, period and sweat-proof pair of underwear that has the added benefit of eliminating the use of disposable pads, liners, tampons, and incontinence products. It looks and wears like a regular pair of undies, but the special Modifier Technology in the lining is the key. It’s actually a system of linings: there’s the outer, high performance, sweat wicking Merino Perform fabric and the leak-proof Modifier Technology in the gusset that holds up to 2 tampons or 1-2 teaspoons of fluids. Not to worry though, you won’t feel or see this lining, because it’s very discrete and super slim – only 3mm – and it locks away the moisture and odors! At the end of the day, just rinse in cold water, then a cold wash (now or later) in a delicates bag, and hang to dry.
