Known for having one of the world’s longest and most colorful fall foliage seasons, Asheville, North Carolina is the place to visit this autumn. Asheville, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains, is located more than 300 miles from the coast and fortunately was not affect by the recent Hurricane Florence. Travel the Blue Ridge Parkway, viewing vibrant colors along the highest ridge tops of the Southern Appalachians.
