Be at your peak with Peak Sherpa Tsampa! Never heard of Tsampa? It’s an ancient cereal made from sprouted, roasted, organic barley that is popular among the Sherpa community in the Himalayas. This is a hearty cereal that can be eaten hot or cold and has a robust flavor with a consistency similar to steel-cut oats. We tried it two ways: mixed with a little hot water and almond milk and cold, with some fruit and yogurt. Both ways were delicious and simple, since there was no cooking needed. With plenty of fiber, some protein, and 0-4 grams of added sugar, it’s a healthy way to start the day with long lasting energy.
