Happy 150th! Back in November 1885, the Canadian National Parks system was formed so this year’s 150th anniversary is being celebrated with a big present to you! Parks Canada is offering their Discovery Pass free of charge to anyone who applies online for this pass. It allows free entrance to over 40 national parks, historic sites and marine conservation areas for the entire year. A wide range of sites include the iconic Banff National Park, fly-in camping at Ivvavik National Park in the most northerly tip of the Yukon, surfing at Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, and discovering fossils at Grasslands National Park. Only a few of the many diverse areas that Canada has to offer, and it’s all free this year!
