Stove in a can? Must be a gimmick, right? Well, the folks at Firefly Innovations have created a very clever package using the can itself as a stove and including inside 4 fuel cells (each lasting about an hour), a cooking ring and lid and waterproof matches. You open the can, take things out, light the fuel cell (which looks a lot like a patty of pressed wood shavings), drop it back in the can, put the cooking ring and lid on top and you’re good to go. It really is a stove in a can and even works in the rain when you can’t find dry kindling. Categorize this under “what will they think of next.” But in any case, this will definitely be a part of TrailblazerGirl’s next camping trip.
