What is that giant ball hanging in the trees?! It’s the Red Kit Tree Tent in Wales, United Kingdom! This spherical tent, about 10 feet in diameter, is suspended with minimal impact to the trees and has an outdoor raised platform with seating area and bathroom facilities, complete with hot shower, sink, and flush toilet. Inside the tent is a double bed, wood burning stove, small storage area under the floor of the tent, and electric powered lighting. Outside, you can explore the 80 acres of Red Kite’s private forests and streams as well as the surrounding National Trust Woodland. This is totally cool glamping to the extreme!
