A wonderful way to experience the beautiful fall foliage colors of the Adirondacks. Operating from September 12th through October 19th, the Adirondack Scenic Railroad’s Fall Foliage Train travels through remote forests, over rivers and streams to areas that are not accessible by car. There’s a 4 hour layover at the Thendara Station, and you can arrange a lake cruise at nearby Old Forge or just explore the village. A leisurely, scenic way to enjoy the autumn.
