The outer short is more loosely fitting and is made with breathable panels and has handy reflective details to keep you visible in questionable lighting. The waistband has an elastic band for comfort and a drawstring cord for the perfect fit. There’s also a zippered pocket on the back of the band that’s just big enough to carry a phone if you really need to have it with you.
