Dead Sea Ultra Marathon

Coming April 5, 2013. Run to the lowest point on land? The Dead Sea Ultra Marathon (DSUM) is held in April on a course that runs from Amman, Jordan to the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is 1,388 feet (423m) below sea level, so yes, this is the lowest point on land on the entire planet. Oh, and in addition to the 50K ultra-marathon, there will be a 42K marathon and a 10K fun run. So now, maybe you have that one more reason you needed to get your Indiana Jones gear together and get out there to explore the ancient world.
