On our ongoing exploration ’round the world, we’re seeking the best gear and the best places to use it, and that led us to one of Australia Geographic’s top 18 camping spots: The Booderee National Park. The best time to go is either in June or July when you can see humpback and southern right whales begin their migration north or in September to November when they return. Booderee is known for its diverse environs including coastal cliffs and heaths, sandy beaches and rock platforms, mangroves and ocean, swamps, lakes and forests which border beautiful, white sand beaches, fishing, boating, hiking, swimming and camping…. a regular TrailblazerGirl paradise.
