Ryka Ascent Running Shoes

Put simply, rykä makes running shoes for women. They use shoe molds build from women’s feet, and the shoes come out narrower in the heel and wider in the toe, just like a woman’s foot. We like the new Ascent model because of the extra support it has in the middle (they call it a Skeletal Guidance Shank which doesn’t sound very nice, but it seems like a good idea). More importantly, we found them to be super light too. Keep an eye open for rykä… you’ll probably start to notice that they often sponsor women’s running events.
