The largest national park in Wales. Snowdonia National Park was established in 1951 as Britain’s third national park (and the first in Wales), and some say that King Arthur’s legendary sword, Excalibur, is at the bottom of one of the park’s lakes. Gorgeous natural beauty awaits you with craggy peaks, clear lakes, waterfalls, beaches, and deep valleys. Snowdonia National Park has something for everyone with hiking trails, bike paths, historical sites, quaint villages, mountain railways, a copper mine, caverns, and even King Arthur’s Labyrinth!
