Midtown Beef Jerky

Jerky is the ideal snack for active TrailblazerGirls, and we’ve found a tasty one in Midtown Beef Jerky. Their tagline is Freshness + Quality = Awesome. We think that’s a pretty accurate description of this small batch artisan jerky. They offer 3 flavors, and here’s our take on them. Peppered has it all going on: smoky, savory, sweetness, and of course black pepper. The bag that we tasted had pieces of beef that were slightly thicker so they were a bit more chewy, but not in a bad way. Sweet Heat starts out sweet then hits you with spiciness; if you’re looking for a kick, you’ll find it here. Saving our favorite for last is the Sesame Citrus with hints of orange, sweetness, and sesame seeds for a little extra surprise. It was so good that the whole team was fighting over the last piece!
