Radiator Ladies Shark Deterrent Diving Suits

Sharks begone…or at least reduce your chances of being attacked in the water! The folks at Radiator are offering 3 different Ladies (and men’s) Shark Deterrent Diving Suits: Diverter, Elude Mid, and Elude Dark. The Diverter Design is black and white striped and “present the wearer as something dangerous or unpalatable to a shark”. The Elude Mid and Dark Designs are bluish patterned and “allow the wearer to blend in with the background colours” with the Mid being more effective in snorkeling and shallow to mid depth diving while the Dark is more effective in mid to deep depth diving. These designs were created by a collaboration between Shark Attack Mitigation Systems (SAMS) and researchers at the Oceans Institute at the University of Western Australia after years of studying sharks in the wild and in captivity.
