La Sagrada Familia

One of the most iconic, recognizable symbols of Barcelona. With construction started in 1882, La Sagrada Familia is a work in progress scheduled to be completed in 2026, the centenary of Antoni Gaudí’s death. Don’t be misled by the fact that it’s unfinished, there’s plenty to see at this UNESCO World Heritage Site with its four completed towers (there will be 18 when finished), Nativity Façade, Passion Façade, and amazing interior with giant, tree-like pillars and spectacular vaulting.
