Celebrate the winter with a trip to Voyageurs National Park. This small park in northern Minnesota, established in 1975, has three scenic snowshoe trails that are a manageable 1.5 to 2.5 mile trek, and they even offer a free loan program where you can borrow snowshoes at the visitor center. Or enjoy the miles of beautiful, tranquil cross-country ski trails – choose groomed paths or the more challenging pristine backcountry. Or try your hand at ice fishing or snowmobiling on the designated frozen lakes. So many fun TrailblazerGirl activities – just make sure to bundle up and stay warm!
