Whistler Olympic Park

The 22nd Winter Olympics are starting today in Sochi, and though you may not be an Olympian, you can pretend for a day at the Whistler Olympic Park. Yes, that Whistler, the picturesque, Canadian mountain village where many of the 2010 Winter Olympic events occurred. Try bobsledding or skeleton, take a shot at (pun, intended!) biathlon rifle marksmanship, and soon, learn ski jumping (Note: Women’s Ski Jumping is debuting in this year’s Olympics, yeah!). There are also miles of novice and challenging cross country ski and snowshoe trails in this wonderful mountain setting. Catch the Olympic spirit!
