Our Fun Friday Find this week is the Aurora by Velomobile, a three-wheeled recumbent bike with a hard shell. The hard shell basically provides three features: 1. it mostly streamlines the bike for speed (yep, you can go faster on this… depending on the hill of course), 2. it also protects pretty well from the weather (after all, you have a shell around you), and 3. it also protects you a bit more if you have an accident (that shell is made from graphite and is sure better than nothing). At 75 pounds, it’s not light, but why not consider something with a shell if you live in a wet climate… no surprise, these are made in Canada.
