Firekeeper by Knud Holscher

As with so many super cool designs, your friends will look at it and be confused as to what it is and Danish designer Knud Holscher probably planned it that way. The Firekeeper is both a fire poker, for making and tending a wood fire, and also a fire blower, for blowing air into the fire to stoke the flames. It’s that second functon that makes this so interesting since we all know that blowing on the fire helps get it going, and with this device, which essentially has a built-in metal straw, you can direct your breath into the nooks and crannies where you need to blow. It makes so much sense doesn’t it?
