What are made out of then? Let us introduce you to cassava, a tuberous root vegetable used as a staple food in the tropics. You may be more familiar with tapioca, the dried, powder form of the cassava starch. These gluten-free, non-GMO chips are thinner and more delicate than standard tortilla chips, but that seems to enhance the seriously addictive crunch of the chip.
