Golden Gate Park Disc Golf Course

So maybe whacking at a little ball isn’t your cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still walk the course doing something else. What we grew up calling Frisbee Golf has matured into the more generically called Disc Golf with its own rules and courses and varied discs for different situations. One of the coolest disc courses runs through the Golden Gate Park here in nearby San Francisco. It’s free, and you just need some good walking shoes and a disc or two or three. Tacky plaid pants are optional.
