Though it’s extremely important to apply sunscreen when you’re out and about, especially when you’re in the water, unfortunately,  90% of the sunscreens on the market are super toxic to our coral reefs. To help eliminate this major stressor to our beautiful coral reefs, two California girls and a chemist Dad came up with SurfDurt, a sunscreen so natural, you can eat it (note, we didn’t do this, but we’ll take their word for it!). You won’t find a big, long list of ingredients in each reusable bamboo pot of sunscreen – just nine all-natural ingredients. Non-nano zinc oxide is the active ingredients, and it’s combined with antioxidants to help heal, hydrate, and protect your skin. The formula provides UVA/UVB broad spectrum protection for up to 80 minutes of sweat and water exposure. They offer a neutral tan tint, Whoopsie Pink (a light pinkish orangish color that still blends in beautifully), and Zombie White (so you know exactly where you’ve applied your sunscreen!).
