How do you know when it ‘s time to replace your running shoes? Simple enough, check the soles, but actually, your shoes may need to be replace BEFORE they show wear and tear in the soles. Enter mino, the shoe life tracker, to help you solve that question.  Generally, shoe manufacturers recommend replacing your shoes after 300 to 500 miles, and mino is calibrated to count when you’ve reached about 400 miles. Place it under the insole of a new pair of shoes and check it every few weeks by pressing and holding a button. Through a very user-friendly set of lights, mino will indicate when your shoes are 1/3 worn, 3/4 worn, almost worn out, and when it’s time to get a new pair of shoes. At only 2.5mm thick, you won’t be able to feel it in your shoe, but they do provide another pad, that’s the same thickness, just in case you need to “even” your shoes out. An innovative way to keep track of the health of your running shoes.
