Paddling against the current can get to be tough after a morning of great surfing. But coming soon, WaveJet’s new Longboard with their truly innovative Pod does the paddling for you. The Pod is essentially a sleekly designed lithium-ion battery powered motor that fits into a slot on the bottom of the board and is controlled via a waterproof controller embedded in a wristband you wear while surfing. This may be 22nd Century stuff, but imagine “paddling” at 7mph, three to four times faster than you would on your own. With this, TrailblazerGirl can call herself Bond, Jamie Bond.
