The Big Five Marathon

Coming June 22, 2013. Held among the wildlife of the African savannah, The Big Five Marathon in South Africa brings runners from all over the world to meet in one of the most spectacular Big Five game reserves in Africa. The term Big Five refers to the 5 animals most sought after for sightseeing while on safari: elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard. And in this marathon, actually there’s also a half marathon and a 10K, you’ll run through the savannah without any fences, rivers, or really anything to separate you from the wildlife (except of course the organizers). So maybe you should think about this first… just how much do you really want to get back to nature?
