The Jungle Ultra

Coming May 24, 2013. For some people, it’s not enough to run 230km. You have to do it in jungle. The Jungle Ultra spans the Amazon Rainforest & Cloud Forest of Peru across mountain trails, jungle tracks and river beds. This will be a real challenge. Be prepared to be self-sufficient by carrying your own hammock, sleeping bag, food and supplies for the entire race (although there will be places where you can replenish your water supply at check points and base camps). So, if you thought marathons were too easy… and ultra races were also too easy… then this is the race for you macho-girl.
