When you are ready to hit the trails on two wheels, our friends at GripGrab have you covered from head to toe! With their new women-specific line of cycling accessories, the GripGrab Women’s Range, this Danish company has us impressed. Starting at the top (literally!), their Women’s Summer Cycling Cap is lightweight, breathable, machine washable, and will do the trick on its own or under a helmet. Next, we tested 2 exceptional full finger cycling gloves, the Women’s Shark and the Women’s ProGel. Both have a proprietary DoctorGel padding (4mm to be exact), excellent grip (not surprising, given the company’s name), sweat wipers, and are specifically designed to snugly fit a woman’s hand. The Shark is more suited to mountain biking with its rugged mesh (read: breathable and strong) back while the ProGel is best for the road with slightly more padding at the base of the fingers and a more flexible Lycra back. Lastly, there’s the Women’s No-Show Sock, a lightweight, comfortable sock for the warm weather. The open mesh zones are a welcome feature for extra breathability as is the rear tag that keeps the sock from slipping and provides some extra support for your Achilles tendon. Quality construction across the board, commendable features, and women-specific design make GripGrab a clear choice for all your TrailblazerGirl cycling accessory needs.
