Swim Serpentine

Coming September 16, 2017. An open water swimming event in the heart of London! It’s the Swim Serpentine, a half mile, one mile or two mile race, held in Hyde Park’s Serpentine Lake, the venue for the open water swimming during the London 2012 Olympic Games. At last year’s inaugural event, 6,000 happy swimmers participated, and this year promises to be just as popular. A wetsuit or a tow-float are required by all swimmers, unless by chance the water temperature is 15°C or above, then a wetsuit is optional. The course will be clearly marked by large buoys, and a water safety team will be on hand to assist any swimmers on the day if needed. A fun festival and award ceremony will follow.
