Chocolate with a story and a mission. We love our chocolate but what we didn’t know is that in West Africa, where 60% of the world’s cocoa comes from, there is a widespread issue of illegal child labor and slavery on the cocoa plantations. That is definitely something not to love, and Tony’s Chocolonely is making a difference by only sourcing their cocoa from farmers in Ghana and the Ivory Coast that practice fair trade and slave free labor with traceability and transparency. Started backing 2005, Tony’s launched the world’s first (hence, “lonely” in their name) chocolate bar to help eradicate slavery from the global chocolate industry. They offer 7 giant bars (6 oz!): 70% Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Milk Caramel Sea Salt, Dark Almond Sea Salt, Dark Pecan Coconut, Dark Coffee Crunch, and Dark Cherry Meringue. Delicious chocolate for the serious chocolate-lover! Help make a difference with Tony’s Chocolonely.
