Fast, fun, and fantastic! The folks at Eagle Wing Tours certainly delivered on a recent Whale and Wildlife Tour out of the picturesque city of Victoria in Beautiful British Columbia. The TrailblazerGirl team was treated to a glorious day on the Salish Sea as we spotted orcas, humpback whales, porpoise, sea lions, eagles and harbor seals. Speeding along the coastline of Southern Vancouver Island, the onboard naturalist shared interesting facts about the area and the wildlife as we sat warm and comfortable in waterproof flotation jackets and wind- and waterproof pants, cameras at the ready. The vessel we took, the Goldwing, was an open air 60 foot custom built scarab that cut through the water smoothly and with speed.
