South American Epic with TDA Global Cycling

Coming July 9, 2017. A cycling trip for the bucket list. The South American Epic from the folks at TDA Global Cycling is truly an epic ride from the southern tip of the continent to the northern tip of the continent. Starting in Cartagena, Colombia on the shores of the Caribbean, this 8,404 mile journey involves 128 riding days and 38 rest days. Highlights include the Bolivian Salt Flats, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, the Andes, Patagonia, Volcano Alley in Ecuador, 10 UNESCO World Heritage sites, a dozen National Parks and numerous other areas of historical and archeological interest. This is a challenging expedition not only due to its length but also the altitude changes, humidity and heat. Accommodations will include hotels and camping. On-tour support includes a vehicle to carry your bags, an experienced tour leader, a ‘sweep’ rider, security as needed, a bike mechanic, a medic, local support, and an experienced chef. This Top to Tip promises to be an incredible  adventure.
