Freihofer’s Run for Women

Coming June 3, 2017. Celebrate women, fitness, family, and fun at the Freihofer’s Run for Women! This all-women 5K race takes you through the heart of downtown Albany, past the NY State Capitol and city hall. It’s a chip-timed run along paved roads and trails, through Washington Park (design by Calvert Vaux and Fredrick Olmsted, who is famous for New York City’s Central Park) with a gradual downhill finish. The main sponsor is Freihofer’s Baking Company, so runner will be treated to bread and cookies when they come to pick up their chip and racing packet! Sounds like a good deal!
