One of the world’s top ten walks. The Lycian Way is a 540 km long footpath traveling along the coast of Lycia in southern Turkey, from Fethiye to Antalya. The entire route takes about 29 days to complete, and it is clearly marked with red and white striped indicators. Graded medium to hard, the path covers many ascents and descents and affords scenic views of the Mediterranean, Mount Olympos, and medieval castle as you travel through quaint villages, wooded forests, and farmlands. You can find accommodations in village houses, pensions or small hotels along the way, and camping is also an option. Discover the Lycian Way, Turkey’s first long-distance trekking route.
