Give yourself a leg up in training, racing, and recovering! Our friends at COMPRESSPORT have 2 Full Socks, the V2.1 and the Ultrallight that are designed to give you graduated compression and have a multitude of features to help you perform better and recover faster. The 3D.Dots acupuncture-technology are round slightly raised nubs of material which activate and stimulate blood flow in key areas as well as provide shock absorption, wick moisture away, and cushion the Achilles tendon and the malleolus area. The dots are a touch thicker with the V2.1 socks and have a bit more grip to them, preventing movement of your feet in your shoes. The multi-graduated compression at calf level optimizes oxygen supply to the muscles, helping to eliminate toxins, and it also minimizes vibration and micro muscle injury. The pyramidal shaped arch support provides for improved venous return, strengthens your stride posture, and limits curvatures. And lastly, let’s not forget about the toes. The “ergoformable” toe piece allows for your toes to be compression free and comfortable with slightly more padding in the Ultralight version. Both full socks are a good bet for improved performance and recovery in a compression sock, but for hot weather, go with the Ultralight which was officially developed for the Kona Triathlon Championships (yes, Kona, Hawaii!), so you know you’ll have ultra ventilated compression for optimal airing and cooling.
