Mammoth Mountain’s Pond Skim

Coming April 23, 2017. Swim suits and skis? Yes, at Pond Skim, Mammoth Mountain’s fun annual event! At 11,053 feet, Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort boasts the highest summit of any California resort, and this year garnered an impressive 540″ of snow at the main lodge. For Pond Skim, the first crazy (oops, we mean lucky!) skiers and snowboards to register on site in Superhero themed costume will snag one of the 50 precious spots to zip across two ice cold ponds. Cheering crowds will gather at Canyon Lodge to see who will win the title of Pond Skim Champion. There will be celebrations all around with the Spring Party at the Canyon Beach Bar, and of course, spring skiing, making this an event not to be missed!
