Warrior Dash

Various dates and locations in 2017. There’s mud. There’s fire. There’s barbed wire and more. It’s the Warrior Dash, a 5K obstacle race that started back in 2009. Expect 12 killer obstacles like: Under the Wire (crawl 100 feet underneath real barbed wire), Mud Mounds (climb over tall mud mounds, only to slide down into a muddy pit, again and again), Goliath (a two story trek followed by a 30-foot-high slide), and new this year, Magic Carpet Ride (cross a constantly moving slippery mat as you “walk on water”). Finishers celebrate with the signature fuzzy warrior helmut, t-shirt, and medal with post-run festivities including music with a live DJ, photo ops, steins of beer, and fun lawn games. As they say, “leave your normal weekend in the mud”!
