Everglades Half Marathon

Coming November 19, 2016. Keep an eye out for a manatee! The inaugural Everglades Half Marathon will be held entirely within Florida’s Everglades National Park, the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. This is a flat course with no major climbs and follows the Shark Valley Tram Road offering views of the diverse flora and fauna of the area. With a 4 hour cutoff time, there is plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, even if you decide to walk the course. The race starts at 6:30am, leaving the rest of the day to explore the 1.5 million acres of wetland found in this National Park and maybe even spot a manatee or two!
