Choose to run or walk through a complex but well-marked course that takes you through various concourse levels and ramps of famed Yankee Stadium, up and down stairs, and culminating in victory laps around the warning track that circles the field. This fundraising event supports the research funded by the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. For those not familiar with Damon Runyon, he was an iconic sportswriter and journalist who passed away from throat cancer, and since 1946, the foundation has invested over $300 million in more than 3,500 exceptional scientists. Spend a day at the ballpark and run a 5K for a worthy cause.
