Coming October 28, 2012. Venice, city of romance… and fitness? In what may be the most beautiful route of any marathon, you’ll begin in the surrounding countryside near the town of Stra, run into Venice and over a pontoon bridge built over the Grand Canal just for the event, pass through St. Mark’s Square and the Doge’s Palace and ultimately finish in Venice’s Riva dei Sette Martiri. Then, it’s all the pasta you can eat. You will have earned it.
