Gig Harbor Paddlers Cup

Coming April 2, 2016. Visit the most picturesque harbor in the Northwest. Gig Harbor is hosting the fifth annual Paddlers Cup, a 2-day event for water-sport enthusiasts. Pleasant Washington weather is expected this weekend with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mild 60s. Saturday’s events include competitive relay races and distance races in the inner harbor. On Sunday, the Dragon Boat Races take place in the inner harbor, and the Open Water Challenge has paddlers braving the waters across the Tacoma Narrows to Point Defiance Park and back in this 6-mile round trip course. Vendors displaying the latest in water sports and equipment, skin care, health and wellness products, and physical fitness will be present throughout the weekend. Grab a paddle and enjoy the outdoors!
