Kiehl’s Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate

Nature meets science. Our friends at Kiehl’s shared their new Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate with us, and there were some pretty happy (or should we say, radiant?!) faces amongst the TrailblazerGirl team! Just released this month, one of the key ingredients in this concentrate is the extract from sustainably sourced quinoa husk. Yes, quinoa, that healthy grain loaded with protein, fiber, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties. It turns out that when the husk is removed, filtered, and distilled, the remaining extract is a highly effective exfoliate. Combined with cactus extract (a natural antioxidant that helps protect skin against damage) and phytic acid (a natural antioxidant found in bran that helps with exfoliation), this concentrate is gentle enough to use every night, and we found that our skin was smooth, renewed, and brightened.
