Overland Track bushwalk in the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area

While the US has its Appalachian Trail, Tasmania has its Overland Track spanning some of the most gorgeous scenery in the world. The track is a 6-day, 65 km walk through the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. The park system has quotas so that the trail doesn’t get overrun, so folks will need to signup before embarking on their trek which takes hikers through all sorts of terrains, from rainforests to alpine conditions.
