Coming February 21, 2015. The only mountain lifestyle event in North America that is totally free and community-centric. The Alpenglow Mountain Festival is a 10-day winter sports festival held in North Lake Tahoe, California. It’s designed to encourage people to explore the various winter sports and activities around the area. The events include guided snowshoe hikes, backcountry and nordic ski tours, avalanche safety clinics, and even a women’s only ski wax clinic with wine, cheese and fun. All this for FREE!
