May 11, 2014. Various locations throughout the country. Created and inspired by women, the Run Like a Mother 5K event is the perfect way to celebrate Mother’s Day. A family friendly event, the kid’s will start off the day with a timed 1-mile race (how cute!), and then ladies, you’re on for the 5K race through picturesque neighborhoods, scenic parks and city streets. Of course, there will a medals for all finishers, and swag, including a Mother’s Day flower, and post-race activities for all!
