Not your run-of-the-mill flashlight! The HexBright FLEX is the world’s first light that can be programmed using open-source code. What?! It means that you can connect this light to your computer, download some free software, and customize your light settings by using the shared programs available on the HexBright site or if you are tech-savvy, program them yourself! For example, we saw code for flashing out a message in Morse Code at the push of a button and one for programming your light to fade up and down. Not to worry though if this sounds too complicated. It comes preprogrammed with 4 settings – low (50 lumens), medium (175 lumens), high (500 lumens), and flashing. This sturdy, well-balanced, ergonomic grip light has a USB rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery that will last up to 30 hours on the low setting. This is a great light and even more so for you TrailblazerGirls with computer skills!
