Coming August 3-17, 2012. In 1978, the Grand Canyon saw its first all-women’s rafting trip, and now you can be part of the second. In fact, some of those same ladies will be there, and a documentary film is planned to be made about them and all the rafters, that means YOU, during the trip! Yep, on this Raft the Grand Canyon adventure organized by Backcountry Babes, you’ll take 2-weeks to travel down the Colorado River through big rapids in oar and paddle rafts, camping out on sandy beaches, reviving with morning yoga, visiting ancient ruins, hiking rarely seen side canyons, observing unique wildlife and enjoying the awe-inspiring views. A truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
